Start with the Blues.  Add liberal amounts of Classic Rock from the 60's and 70's.  Stir in some Soul and old Rhythm and Blues, and season to taste with Joan Osborne/Eva Cassidy/Susan Tedeschi influences. Bring to a boil over the warm glow of vintage amps, and serve!
